Women's Wellness Connection is a program that helps women who live in Colorado get free breast and cervical cancer screenings. This includes clinical breast exams, pelvic exams, Pap tests, and for those 50 and older, a screening mammogram. For women 40 to 49, mammograms are provided if there is a direct family history (mother or sister) and/or a symptomatic problem is found during the clinical breast exam. Some diagnostic services such as colposcopies are also paid for by the program.
WWC provides free screenings for women who:
---Live in Colorado.
---Meet Colorado citizenship verification.
---Are 40-64 years old.
---Have limited or no health insurance to pay for these screenings.
---Have not had a Pap test or mammogram in the last 12 months.
---Meet income requirements.
